Mladé Buky site is situated in the east part of the Giant Mountains, 6km from Trutnov and between Trutnov and Pec pod Sněžkou.
After turning left from the main road to Pec pod Sněžkou, you will arrive to the car park just a few meters from the bobsled Berta and the whole site. The wide ski slopes and the friendly profiles are great for families with children and skiers who love pleasant skiing and ski lifts without the queues. A chair lift and 7 ski lifts cover the area of 5.1 km of slopes that are daily groomed and covered by artificial snow thanks to the several snow guns and cannons. The local snow park has likeable jumps and obstacles for beginners and kids.
Kids and beginners love Balda´s World with conveyor belt, small rope lift and a lot of funny characters. Every Saturday at 1 p.m. we organise an animated programme for kids. The bobsled Berta, which is 1,520m long – the longest in the Giant Mountains, is open every day during the whole year. Night skiing on 4.1km groomed slopes cannot be offered in any of the Czech ski resorts.
Beginner? Enjoy your first skiing experience in our ski resort and snowboard school with the experienced and certificated instructors who can help you to improve or help your kids with the first turns. Love cross-country skiing? The 5km cross country lap is ready.
Kravín restaurant in the car park is a great place for lunch or dinner. You can also visit one of our après ski bars. The toilets are there for free. The car park is for free. There are regular ski buses from Trutnov.
